As an Organizational consultant, Barbara Bannon has spoken and/or consulted
with over 500,000 people in Corporate America in her 25+ year career. Her last
corporate position was with a Fortune 500 company where she was responsible for
employee relations and recruiting and hiring for 900 Headquarters employees, and
training and organization development corporate-wide for @6000 employees. She
has been the principal consultant of Human Resource Investments for 15 years.
Barbara’s areas of focus include: conflict resolution, perfor-mance
management, executive and management coaching, teambuilding, interviewing and
selection, customer service, workplace diversity and consulting skills.
She is an adjunct professor in the OSU Business School where she was recently
recognized as an outstanding professor. Barbara is a certified mediator through
the Supreme Court of Oklahoma.
In 2005 she was awarded the Paragon Award from Leadership Tulsa for
outstanding community leadership. Additionally, she received the award for
Outstanding Contributor in Training and Development from The Tulsa Area ASTD
She has authored many articles and her most recent publication is a book
entitled “Risky Business, Overcoming Fear and Mastering the Art of Conflict
