Karen works with mid-career leaders who are dissatisfied with how their teams are operating, and not getting the results they want. Through a combination of 1:1 leadership coaching and live-action team coaching, she supports clients in developing the skills and capacities necessary to effectively resolve team-related challenges and lead their teams to perform at the highest level possible.
Karen’s clients achieve concrete results from working her, including: a greater ability to engage effectively in conflict; measurable improvements in team communication; shifts within teams and organizations toward greater trust and openness; improved team processes (in the areas of decision making, communication, role clarity, etc.); increased accountability and follow through; and significant improvements in hitting their own performance measures. Her clients are typically established leaders in their 40′s and 50′s, and work in organizations in the private sector, state and local government, education, and health care.
Karen is a certified coach through New Ventures West, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation, and a certified somatic coach through Leadership Embodiment .
